Coils Akvaterm make copper heat exchange coils for their tanks with rated flows from 35 l/min to 200 l/min. Coils are normally made from finned copper tube of 18mm, 22mm or 28mm diameter, but stainless steel coils can be made to order. All coils are 10 bar pressure rated. Coils are used for the production of domestic hot water (DHW) and can be used to connect heating systems on hydraulically separate circuits. (Direct connection of heating systems is recommended where possible). Coils are also used for heat input from a solar thermal system or a heat pump system.
An AKVA or AKVASAN ‘EK’ model tank is supplied with one LK35 (35 l/min) coil of 22mm finned tube. An AKVANTTI ‘EK’ model tank is supplied with one LK45 (45 l/min) coil which is a longer version of the LK35. These coils are fitted in removable ‘hatches’. These tank models are made with either one or two coil hatches as standard but can be made to order with extra coil hatches. |

AKVAir Solar and Solar Plus tanks are fitted with non-removable coils without hatches. The DHW coils are made in 22mm finned copper tube and the solar coils in 18mm finned copper tube. The standard Solar model is fitted with one solar and two DHW coils. The Solar Plus model has an extra solar coil (in the top of the tank). |

The exhaust fan V25 and V80
The Exhaust fan is used to limit the escape of smoke into the boiler room when reloading fuel into the boiler VIGAS. VIMAR company produces two types of fans:
Fan V25 - designed for boilers type VIGAS 16, 25 and 29 UD VIGAS
Fan V80 - designed for boilers type VIGAS 40, 60, 80, 100
The exhaust fan is not part of the boiler and would need to be purchased separately.
Description of the fan
The fan housing (1) is a welded construction of sheet thickness of 2.5 mm. The input socket is designed to display the boiler flue gas fan, socket outlet is designed to display the chimney pipe. Impeller (2) is attached directly to the motor shaft (3), which is cooled cooling wheel. Fan surface is finished with a refractory coating.
Position the fan
The fan is placed at the throat of the boiler flue outlet. It is recommended to place the fan housing so that the motor shaft is horizontal. The fan is a box with a start capacitor, which is attached to the vertical wall of the boiler so as not to contact drivers with chimney pipe. The boxes are delivered to the capacitor driver involved in the regulation of AK2000 to terminal marked "exhaust fan". Diagram can be found in the instructions VIGAS boilers.
ESBE Motorized Blending Valves
The ESBE VRG series of 3 & 4-way valves are designed to mix water to the appropriate temperature to meet the zone or system requirements within heating and cooling systems. The redesigned VRG valve replaces the MG and G series of rotary valves providing additional operational features. By either mixing or diverting, the fluid temperature leaving the valve is regulated by the VRG in either a manual operation or automatically when coupled with the ARA600 Series or 90 Series electronic motor actuator. These actuators are typically connected to an outdoor reset controller, DDC system or boilers with integrated controls.
ESBE ARA600 Motor Actuator
The ARA 600 series of motor actuators replaces the Series 60 of 24V motor actuators mounted to ESBE 3 way and 4 way rotary valves. Incorporated into the redesign of the ARA motor actuators are improvements in the mounting and operation of the motor actuator resulting in a simpler and quicker installation.
These redesigned direct mounted motor actuators are capable of mounting to the new VRG styles of 3 & 4-way rotary valves. In addition, the ARA 600 series are also backward compatible to the older MG and G series of valves. The ARA 600 series is available in floating 3-point with or without an auxiliary switch and proportional, which cross over to the Series 60 actuators. However there are additional varieties of actuators to select from a 2-point actuator to different run time options. These variety of selections provide flexibility in application selecting.
Underground Main
Microflex Duo (two pipe) MD-C
Microflex is a pre-insulated, flexible, energy-saving PEX-a piping system used worldwide that is perfectly suited for transporting water in renewable energy and other heating and plumbing applications.
Unequalled flexibility for easy installation
Microflex pipes are the most flexible PEX-a pipes on the market. Two Microflex pipes of 40 mm can be bent to achieve an internal radius of only 25 cm.
Turning corners and avoiding obstacles has never been easier and leads to significant time and cost savings during installation. With no cutting required, the installer simply and quickly bends the Microflex pipe around the obstacle. And with fewer accessories and connections, there are real reductions in parts and labour, as well as less risk of leakages, and more time to install. Microflex system accessories can be mounted without any special tools.
Unique “closed chamber” design
A corrugated HD-PE twin-wall outer casing (“closed chamber”) protects both the carrier pipe and the insulating material from external influences. It is watertight, resistant to aggressive substances, and shock-resistant even at sub-zero temperatures.
Light weight
As Microflex pipes are light weight, they are easier to handle than comparable pipes, so can be laid rapidly, even over obstacles and around bends.
Highest quality standards
The Microflex piping system is manufactured according to the most stringent standards and Watts Industries manufacturing facilities and processes are fully ISO 9001 approved.
Excellent insulation
Microflex pipes consist of micro-cellular cross-linked polyethylene foam with a closed cellular structure, permitting low water vapour diffusion, good insulation and resistance to extreme temperatures. This positions them favourably against other materials (e.g. PUR foam) which show a decline in their insulation capabilities over time.
Oxygen diffusion barrier
The Microflex carrier pipe used in heating appliances incorporates an oxygen diffusion barrier which prevents oxygen permeating into the piping system. This barrier enhances the life of the system components.
A long, maintenance-free life
Tests carried out by major testing bodies on the different components of the Microflex piping system indicate that the expected lifetime of Microflex pipes is over 100 years. Throughout their life, Microflex pipes are virtually maintenance-free.
Environmentally friendly
The Microflex system is free from pollutants. The pipe imparts neither taste nor odour and is non-toxic. The manufacturing and recycling processes are also environmentally friendly.
Size flexibility
Microflex pipes are available as tailored lengths or full coils up to 100 m. A wide variety of pipe diameters are available from 25 mm o/d (DN20) to 110 mm o/d (DN90) to meet your specific application requirements.
Laddomat Flue Thermostat
Function:
Used to start and stop the charging pump between boiler and storage tank.
The flue thermostatstarts the pump as soon as the temperature of the smoke pipe rises to a predetermined level, after firing starts.
In wood-fired boilers with self-circulation valves, it prevents cold water cooling the bottom of the boiler when firing starts. The boiler reaches operating temperature more quickly. A suitable setting is approx. 50-1200C. When the log fire goes out, the pump stops as soon as the flue cools down.

Laddomat 21 Flue Thermostat, Laddomat Flue Installation
A thin boundary layer* in the storage tank is necessary for an effective, easy-to
operate solid fuel boiler system.
It is vitally important for the boundary layer that the installation of the boiler and storage tanks is correct.
Laddomat 21 is a complete unit and is simple to install.
* The Boundary Layer is a thin border between the hot water on top and the
colder, denser water underneath. Laddomat 21 enables the boiler to attain the
perfect working temperature in a very short
space of time.
Laddomat 21 charges the storage tank by
means of a slow flow of hot water. The vitally important boundary layer between hot and cold water is therefore optimal.
